Born on the last day of the Leo Sun in 1949: Rick Springfield (Richard Lewis Springthorpe). Rick was my very first rock concert ever at age ten at the Ionia Free Fair in Ionia, Michigan--can I get a hell yeah? You all know the colossal hit from 1981: "Jessie's Girl" and who can forget his rad auto-mechanic uniform jumpsuit:
And then there he was on "General Hospital" playing the handsome Dr. Noah Drake. All I can say is this double Leo laid the impression for the rock star archetype in my impressionable pre-teen psyche.
