Neptune is preparing to go to retrograde on June 9, and will do so until November 15. Our dream world takes precedence over reality. Look to where Pisces inhabits your horoscope to see where you're being summoned to a deep immersion in magic, glamour and surrender. This is also the area of your life where you may be experiencing the most confusion, delusion or disillusionment.
This is a divine opportunity to confront any areas of our life where we have been living in denial. Escapism rules now, so be expect be lured into your addiction of choice. Neptune rules the “slippery slopes” of our mind where we have the weakest discrimination.
This is a precious opportunity to invoke our spiritual connection, and delve into our unconscious, sleep and dream work. It's easier to access the right hemisphere of the brain now. We're more likely to turn our minds away from logic and reasoning, and towards creativity, mysticism, symbolism and subtle energy. Those with strong Pisces, Neptune or Twelfth House energies in their birth chart will feel this profound shift, and may feel overwhelmingly sensitive. It’s tempting to leave our bodies and lose contact with the Earth during this transit. Neptune rules the subtle-body realm.
It's a good idea to avoid (or at least cut down) alcohol and caffeine now in order to remain somewhat grounded. It's also wise to avoid chemicals and harsh people, places or things. Due to the heightened sensitivity, it's also important to steer clear of toxic and draining situations. Boundaries are permeable and porous now. We're all feeling more permeable to the influences around us, so be mindful of what you're letting into your energetic sphere.
Neptune Retrograde in Pisces is a beautiful time for healing, compassion and accessing our visionary potential. We have special access to the higher realms of creativity and all of the subtle art forms and healing arts. Compassion, empathy, spirituality, mysticism, the unseen realms and surrendering our egos to something higher are all prevalent themes for the next few months. There's a strong redemptive quality to Neptune when we embrace it for all of its healing potential.
