Are you feeling like the old life is gone but the new hasn't quite revealed itself fully? Layers and layers of old paradigms, dreams and scripts are being dissolved as we prepare for Tuesday's New Moon Solar Eclipse in Pisces. We're in the midst of cleansing lifetimes of unconscious seaweed and sewage in our psyches. It's essential that we don't go backwards now. We've come too far. Even if the new vision has not come into clear focus, we need the patience, courage and faith in the unforeseen to move forward rather than cling to the outworn, the stagnant and faded version of illusions we once cherished. It's tempting to run back and hide out in the familiar, but we are no longer that person. We have shed too many layers during Saturn's passage through Scorpio, and transformation is a one-way door. In truth, we can't really go back. We feel this now. Yet, how do we brace ourselves like the Fool in the Tarot deck on the precipice of the total unknown? Do we have the courage to travel lightly, trust our instincts and make the leap of faith forward into a life of magic and synchronicity? A true hero/heroine's journey. Or do we cling to the unreal and the mundane version of a life steeped in fear, comfort zones and unconsciousness? Mars just moved into Sagittarius to bring more truth, fire and wisdom to our approach. It's important to gather momentum in the upcoming weeks before the Mars retrograde slows us WAY down starting in April and ultimately back through the final death-rebirth, chrysalis of Mars in Scorpio from May-July.
In honour of the current precipice and goal to move into conscious Pisces energy, the next P40 heeds the call for an archetypal road map to lead us through this strange transitional time. What better structure than the inherent Hero/Heroine's journey of the 22 Major arcana in the Tarot. You don't have to know anything about the cards to work with the potent gods and goddesses that inspired them. In fact, these 22 Major archetypal essences are a depiction of the inner forces that create and sustain our reality. We seem the not only reflected in the images of the cards, but also in the symbolic language of our horoscopes. For this next P40 called Tarot: Images and Icons, we have paired icons from the worlds of art, music, fashion and literature with the corresponding Tarot archetypes. We will work with the stories of these inspiring icons to channel the archetypal energies into our own lives through a mix of writing, ritual, and other psychoanalytic/ esoteric techniques. You'll get recorded meditations for each Tarot archetype that you can work with forever; rituals; journaling that you can apply to your daily life and ongoing understanding of the Tarot arts; self-portraiture work to embody the different archetypes, history, fashion, glamorous images to inspire you along your path and more.
