For 40 Days and 40 Nights (JULY 25TH TO SEPT 6TH) ....
Venus, the goddess of beauty and love goes retrograde in the sign of Leo.We all know the story of Jesus being tempted by the Devil in the desert for 40 Days, but few realize that there are many parallels between the Venus Retrograde and the temptation of our desires. We’re more likely to enter or re-enter into illicit affairs, purchases or other temptations during this time when Venus transitions between being an evening and a morning star. It's also a time to repair or deepen existing relationships and most importantly the way we love and value our true selves.Venus Retrogrades are excellent for taking an inner retreat devoted to beauty and reviewing our relationship patterns.
Venus is said to enter her “underworld” period during this phase and we are thus being invited to go underground and examine our relationship to Venus issues in our life. Venus is the symbol of the mirror and Venus retrogrades offer us an incredible opportunity for: reflection, self-love and looking at that which truly holds value in our life.
In this workshop, we will discuss the myths and psychological/spiritual implications of this summer's Venus Retrograde and what it means for each sign.
