But ultimately Venus is the power of beauty and love! Venus is committed to make us deeply sweet (not saccharin) and fiercely self-loving. The presence of the Dark Goddess during this Venus Retrograde (Black Moon Lillith also transiting in Leo) will bring us the wisdom of the Dark Mother within to help us let go of all that no longer serves us in the realms of relationships, possessions, money, and all other Venus themes in your horoscope.

 We had such a blast during the last Venus Rx in Leo P40, Summer of Love 2015-- and the sweetness and magic reverberated for months beyond which is why we're so ready to celebrate this Venus Rx and re-live the sweetness! We are devoting 40 days and 40 nights to the Venusian sutras of sweetness on the candy necklace of our lives. 

We begin with a special puja (ritual ceremony) to the Goddess Lakshmi (total Venus Goddess) here in India for all things auspicious and abudance on the material and spiritual levels in your life. This will commence on the morning of DAY ONE, July 28th followed by a special Opening Ceremony at 11:30am Eastern. You can send your wishes, requests and offerings for the puja. Every Friday we'll meet at 11:30am -1pm Eastern for a Live session and often with special guests including a private Q and A with Billy Corgan and other Venus/artistic/muses from my life. Through a series of archetypal prompts, we enter into a dialogue with the unconscious to reveal our Venus patterns with self-care, self-love, attachment, disappointment, desire, heartbreak, and ultimately deep inner strength and sweetness. We can build on the strengths of our past and mend even our deepest heartbreak with the balm of beauty and self-love. We can let go of the weaknesses, self-defeating patterns and fears by making them conscious. We will also tap into pieces of the relationship story that hold the keys to what the Self is under the false belief that it is "missing" when we are what we are seeking and what we are seeking is seeking us. All is within.

What are the recurring themes, patterns, and highlights in our relationship narrative? Which reiterations, projections and relationship patterns with lovers, friends, family, partners, colleagues, our children, and most importantly with our Self-Dialogue keep us stuck in familiar and comfortable but self-sabotaging looops? On the path to healing our hearts we reconnect with those archetypal intersections between the divine and human, sutras of sweetness, those numinous moments in our life that have a way of defining our love stories and what and where our psyche tends to dwell and from where it sources in order to recreate  throughout the cycles of our life.

 

Sherene and Katelan have been creating Venus Retrograde programs together since 2006. This is the 6th P40 Venus Rx. Sherene Vismaya, M.A. is an astrologer, psychoanalyst and mystic in private practice in NYC and San Francisco and currently India for the past 22 years consulting, writing and teaching. She's been the Resident Astrologer for Elle UK since 2005, creator of Constellation Magazine and author of several books. She specializes in depression, shadow work, anxiety, creative blocks, eating disorders, and relationships. Katelan V. Foisy is a visual artist, writer, and occultist who specializes in vintage style mixed media art and photography. Chaos of the Third Mind with Vanessa Sinclair is set for 2020 from Fulgar Ltd, UK.  Her art is featured in William Patrick Corgan's solo album Ogilala, merchandise for the tour, and backdrops as well as Smashing Pumpkins Shiny & Oh So Bright tour.

She has displayed at The Worcester Art Museum, Ohio History Museum, Mae West Fest, Last Rites, MODA, Museum of Contemporary Art DC, as well as the A&D gallery in London. Katelan's illustration clients have included, The Grammy Awards, Howling Wolves Wine, Saturn Sisters, Kim Boekbinder, O'death, Gabby Young & Other Animals, Out Magazine, The Progressive, Scholastic, and many others.  Her paintings have graced the walls of Young & Rubicam, Que4 Radio, and the stage of  Ensemble Studio Theater.
